WEBS can help you find the best stallion to cover
your mare, with our extensive database and knowledge of stallions
from around the world. This database contains all the relevant information required to choose the most appropriate stallion.
By using our selection service, you can be sure that you will
have the greatest chance of breeding the best foal for whatever
purpose you want.
Cost for this service: £30.00 per enquiry. This includes stallion profiling, cost of semen and type of semen available (fresh, chilled or frozen). This information will be presented to the client in a written report which you can act upon. if you are looking to buy a stallion: £ Price on application
Part of the stallion selection process will involve the owner fulling out a questionnaire about the mare's breeding, conformation, your requirements etc. If you feel that you will struggle with filling out the form, or do not have time, we can undertake a conformational assessment for which you will have to send photographs and video footage of the horse's walk trot and canter. Cost for this service is £40.00 per enquiry (which includes stallion selection service as well).
Selection of the Mare
It may be the case that you have a stallion and are
unsure of which mare to use as the dam; or you may be looking
to buy a foundation broodmare. We can help you with this choice to ensure
you have the best possible broodmare for your chosen discipline. This
in turn helps you achieve your breeding goals.
This may suit stallion owners which have not yet sired a foal; the WEBS service should help breeders produce a quality foal which could in turn increase the value of your stallion, and raise its stud fee.
We have extensive contacts with both state and private studs on the continent,
who often have a number of broodmares for sale privately.
